POSTER SUBMISSION

GUIDELINES

  • Don’t overload your poster. Remember, you are sharing about “quick wins”, not writing an essay.
  • Seek simplicity, keep text to a minimum and avoid redundancies.
  • Limit the title to 100 characters, including spaces.
  • Ensure each image imported into the powerpoint is at least 150KB.
  • Use 300-500 words for the poster content, not more.
  • The figures and tables should cover approximately 50% of the poster area.
  • The average reader spends 1-2 minutes on your poster. Highlight your main finding. If it can be communicated with numbers, graphs, or other visuals, please do so.
  • The poster is supposed to be readable from a distance of 1.5-2m. We recommend font size between 30 and 36pt.
  • Use a constant font throughout the poster.
  • Let your important points stand out. Use (but don’t overuse) bold and colours.
  • If possible, avoid abbreviations and acronyms.
  • For best visual quality, use of high-resolution images and high contrast between text and background.
  • Before saving as a PDF, please ensure the settings are accordingly to the following: File > Options > Advanced > Image Size and Quality > High Fidelity

To be considered for the poster gallery, your poster must use the provided poster template. Please download below. Specific poster guidelines are included within for easy reference.
